Linux App Summit 2025: Join us in Tirana, Albania or Online
The Linux App Summit (LAS) 2025 is set to take place on April 25-26, 2025, as a hybrid event, offering both in-person attendance in Tirana, Albania, and remote participation from anywhere in the world.
Organised by the GNOME and KDE communities, LAS continues to bring the global Linux community together to learn, collaborate, and contribute to the growth of the Linux application ecosystem.
Attendance at LAS is free, but registration is required.
This year, LAS will gather participants from the global Linux and open-source community, including developers, designers, translators, enthusiasts and participants from various open-source projects, local organizations, and tech companies.
The event will feature two days of insightful talks, panels, and Q\&A sessions covering a wide range of topics including Flathub: A Paradigm Shift for Distributing Applications, An Analysis of a Changing Linux Ecosystem, Test-Driven Hardening: Automating Seccomp Profile Creation Through Testing, among many others. Each session will be delivered by experts in their respective fields, providing attendees with valuable insights into reaching users, building communities around their apps, choosing the right toolkits and technologies, selecting target platforms, and much more.
Tirana, the capital and largest city of Albania, is located in the center of the country, surrounded by mountains and hills, with Mount Dajti rising to the east and a valley to the northwest overlooking the Adriatic Sea. This scenic setting makes it a perfect backdrop for this year’s summit.
